#songbender part 13 – The Playboy Revolutionary – Count Zero
no better time than the 13 for this one, yo
i GUARANTEE you will not get to the end of this one and you will just close it out. Ha.
and with this i need to mention that within a few decades i will move this whole project to my own website where i will actually write about these songs (and i will start from the beginning just to annoy everybody) and it will actually be THERE where you will find the useful info. Here you will still have the song and the yt link but the original and quality content i will move away. sorry Mark.
and it’s not because i hate FB’s posting editor. no, i don’t hate it. I loathe it, with every inch of my heart, this is like the worst thing ever created, like HOW do you create something this awful and primitive and bad? oh yes, because the people using it are awful and primitive and bad, i get it. Cool. I will stick to my own WP where i can actually link the original song compared to the remix, can make text edits and insert stuff which you can not re-sell, and whatnot. Don’t worry about it.
so here we go. one of the best beats i have ever heard, and i’m going to steal it someday. But you will not make it through the end, sorry, it’s too dark and crazy. i agree.
another interesting fact may be that even though this whole album is titled “The Matrix” and it came out the same year the Matrix movie did – they have nothing in common, at all. in their case, the matrix refers to the synthetic universe from William Gibson’s novels (Neuromancer, Count Zero, Mona Lisa Overdrive). it’s just a coincidence. but i can not imagine any person born after the 90s to associate the matrix with Gibson’s version anymore. sad.
