Good evening there, dear several ladies and only one gentlemen, as the rest are all bastards, i have statistics on this page, so i have a really good idea on who reads these and yes, it’s true!!!!
So this time we are going to take a reeeeaaaalllly harsh turn right there. If you work for my company, which i hope you don’t, you would say, we are soooo not going to do the same thing that we are doing a drastic 360 turn right here!
By the way, i told you so already that from time to time we need to alienate people who are looking at this, and recently it appears that too many people were looking at these pages, so we can’t allow that now, can we, therefore we must go into directions that we must go into.
And thus, therefore, and as such, we go back to the Return To The Source compilation, which i have already used in this collection (and fear not, will use again). It is just really unbelievable how these compilations shaped ME back in the day, and back in the day there had not been that many things that would have had such an impact on idiots like me, because we were not living on the fkin internet 24/7 and got all our news from russian bots, yaknow? it’s really unbelievable, i know. people were actually stealing mp3-s as there was no other way, and proper music was discovered based on real people’s reviews, wow, what a unique concept that was, until the antisocial media fked everything up, thanks very much for that, enjoy your yachts, you fkers. and i hope you all burn in whatever crappy place your fancy religion convinces the poor people of the same religion that it is a bad place.
anyways, so really, this is so amazing that I had to process this back in the day for like weeks or so. and if you check nowadays, which you won’t, so never mind, but you will NOT find anything on Cat Von Trapp.
Only that she did these and a few other tracks for the RTTS series, and that’s it! I remember a few years ago there was like a wikipedia page, with VERY little information, and you could see some live show dates, and stuff, so I’m quite positive that this girl exists, or existed, who knows, and that this used to be real.
And this is on another level, yo. The other tracks are even more screwed up than this one, and i’m not kidding.
So this one is all about harmonies.

Minimal ambient, with the vocals on top of each other. Meaning you have to do this whole thing like 17 times, one after another.
I have no way to scientifically tell, as it is still impossible with all this technology, but i’d REALLY like to see the DAW project for this track. There’s at least 8 vocal tracks here, and OMG the harmonies, and everything! Just HOW fkin AMAZINGLY UNDERGROUNDISHLY perfect is this song!!!! this is something that you just DON’T HEAR, anywhere! You had to be there at the time, i guess.
But the way the vocals are placed on top of each other, and when she starts to raise them one by one, to get to the end with the true harmony, i mean, as i said before, fkkkkk me sideways, this is unreal. WHO does this. I mean, we know some weird shit happening, and the internet has given stage to some unique weirdos out there who do all sorta stuff, but come ON.
And it’s 4 minutes. And with the technology back in the day, it’s absolutely crazy how they did this. It was NOWHERE NEAR what we have today! So this is EFFORT right here, and a brilliant performance, and fantastic production.
Give it a try, and come back to it, like tomorrow. And then once again. And once you start to get used to this, you will experience the small details, and as I always say, Mrs. Lipton, the most important things are the small details. And how this is done so well, i have no idea.
So dear Ms. Cat Von Trapp, I don’t know who you are, where you are, how you managed to do this, but since I think I have all your songs that I could find on the internet, and it’s only like 5-6, but they are CRAAAAZY, I must say: you are one of the most unique performers i have EVER heard, and that means absolutely nothing of course, who am I, someone with opinions that actually matter, like a YOUTUBER?!?!?! of course not.
So since it appears that your name will sink into oblivion, i’m making an attempt to stop that, and thank you for these wonderful songs, I promise I will come back to another one in the future, but I need to start with this one as this gave me the chills on my spine for the very first time and I just freakin LOVE this.
